| Summary | 0002241: /CHGHOST does not send the modes changes | ||||
| Description | When I use /SETHOST, UnrealIRCd will notify me that I receive the usermodes "+xt", but /CHGHOST does never notify the user he received the usermodes "+xt". | ||||
| 3rd party modules | |||||
Well I guess that all depends if its svsmode or svs2mode that it uses or am I way off? svsmode doesnt show the user what happened where as svs2mode does. |
Uhh, it doesn't use either command. SVS* means it is from services. /chghost is not from services. |
I'm not 100% sure about this. Yes, I see the idea of sending out the mode change as a good thing, but it might also be confusing. "When did I set +xt???" if this is added, I guess the user should also receive notificiation that /chghost has been used on him/her. |

Why not the same message than /SETHOST: Your nick!user@host-mask is now (X!Y@Z) - To disable it type /mode X -x |
