| Summary | 0002599: New Feature Request | ||||
| Description | This would entail changing the way the Ban system works entirely. We have a Gline list that is massive. It would literally flood you for about 3 minutes. Im sure that we are not the only irc network that has this issue. The feature i would like to see would change it so that either you can /gline list [email protected] or maybe even give a Hash code when the user is glined. That way if we have a user needing assistance with an akill/gline we can quickly do a search on the ip/host/hashcode to find it. An example of the hashcode idea would be. on the users end it would tell them they are banned then, Opper reason, then /3S786RD7 <-- CODE I dont know if this is possible or even if you all will see this as a feature to add but we see it as a needed feature. | ||||

Hm.... /stats g +m some@mask ? (for other flags see /stats) == btw.. I assume you are not serious about the version you specified, in either case.. we only support 3.2.3 (and 3.2.2 a bit), not older versions. |

Ahh i didnt really realize what i was selecting there. What about the code part of it. Is there a way that we could list glines by code, or have the user given a code when they are killed off the server for our users who are more inept at getting their ip/hostnames. |

Find a services package that uses AKill ID's... |

This is the stupidest name for a feature request I've seen yet. "New Feature Request" doesn't describe at all what this is about. Please change it to at least something like "Add hashes & search funtionality to glines". |

Daedalon, the name of the reques't doesnt matter. If it should have been changed, Syzop would have changed it. This issue should be closed anyway, it seems to be solved. EDIT: Please, if you are going to post on bug reports, be helpful in the solution of the bug, or the progress of a feature... Posts that flame the reporter are pointless. |
