The channel is the help_channel so everyone opped is getting +h, but i was informed that apparently +h requires local oper to be able to ban walk... unless something is goofed up :p |

Every level requires can_override in order to banwalk. |

there would be a notice to the effect of "chanserv invited firestorm into the channel" oh also, his chanserv access was removed after the first banwalk... so scratch chanserv. |

Is mixed versions even a supported configuration? There were some ban handling changes in 3.2.5, and 3.2.4 had some broken globbing match in the original release. |

different host-shadow-keys on the servers? (They have to be identically all over the network) is there a +I/+e constellation in the channel? |

The cloak keys match (all other bans are working) and as you can see from the earlier comment no matching +b or +I :) |

Still an issue? I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else. |

The real question is .. what ban did ChanServ try to set? There is the thing where you can't set a wider ban if there is a smaller ban? I'm willing to bet money on that this is a services issue instead :P |

Bit hard to deal with this after 6 years. We'll see if anyone re-reports it, haven't seen any the past few years though. |
