DescriptionWhen you change your nick through services to irc, and then with /nick change it back to something else. The server will kill you, if you have 2 or more servers linked. An example of the kill : Closing Link: royteeuwen[78-20-250-112.access.telenet.be] origin.rscorr.com (Killed (origin.rscorr.com (irc(?) <- evil.and.corruptedirc.com)))
Steps To ReproduceFirst use like in example Anope: /os svsnick royteeuwen irc and then type /nick royteeuwen. 2 servers linked are necessary to reproduce

Can't this really be covered under the "This is one of the reasons you shouldn't be playing with RAW"?

And if you're using the built-in OS SVSNICK command, IMO there's no real reason to force someone to change their nick without other methods of telling them (for example: /kill badnick Change your nick, then /os sqline add badnick).

ehm... nick 'IRC' ? IRC and IRCd are reserved nicknames...

Stealth put it best, and yes as syzop also noted, irc is supposed to be a reserved nickname as far as I've ever been aware, so...

I'm not "fixing" this. As SVSNICK is a trusted command, it doesn't need to check for this condition..
