Summary0004148: [Feature Request:] Implementing OMSG on the server side.
DescriptionCurrently this feature is available on mIRC where the message is being sent as a pvt message to all ops in a specified channel.
Correct me if I am wrong but afaik, this command can only be used when you are opped.

My suggestion:
1) Rename the command to avoid conflict with client, if it is needed.
2) Implement a mechanism to allow privileged non ops to issue an OMSG.
3) Probably consider implementing ONOTICE which should have the same feature as OMSG.
4) Introduce a new user mode to receive/block OMSG and ONOTICE.

I made this feature request as low priority because I do not find enough reason to implement this feature. Perhaps this feature can be implemented as a module.

I don't see this as necessary, because it technically is already an implemented feature, just client aliases make it easier to use.

To IRC, it looks like:
PRIVMSG @#channel :text
NOTICE @#channel :text
