Additional InformationReading the FAQ:
 I found that this was an issue prior to 3.2.5 but it was fixed in 3.2.5. It looks like the issue is back, although the workaround of changing directories or doing a whereis make -- is not working. Problem keeps occurring.

I can compile it as root but a normal user cannot, this is on 2 different FreeBSD 5.5 boxes.

Hmm... I think if we keep trying to workaround this it will keep popping up. Also the workarounds are real ugly...

I'll update the FAQ, to tell people to shout at FreeBSD ;)
