Summary | 0003697: Ban notice and banlist hidden for non-op users
Description | It's about creating a new channel mode (lets say +H for Hide) that, when set, hide ban notices and banlist to every non-half-op or more on the channel. So that when there is a flooder, he won't see how we try to ban his attacks. Perhaps hide +f too, or any other modes that could help flooders work around the protections.

Just written it myself, now I'll have to deal with links and see what happens. Also have to test with mIRC and other clients if it won't turn them crazy not having banlist updated right. (Note : its not a module but a patch file for the 3.2.7, it changes 1 core file, src/send.c and 1 module, m_mode.c) |

OK for links. |

I don't like this myself (also the complexity) and.. I also see very few others requesting the same functionality. I'm closing this, sorry. |
