| Summary | 0003737: oper_override should also include user modes and not just channel modes | ||||
| Description | In the current versions of unrealircd the oper_override currently allows you to change all modes on a channel without having any status on the channel. However this is not possible when it comes to usermodes. Generally i think oper_override should really be an operator overide and should give operators the ability to change usermodes aswell as channel modes. The only way i have found of doing this so far is by using anope services OperServ to change the user modes. It seems pointless to allow overides on channels but not users since generally the oper_override should overide users and channels. I am aware that there are modules that allow changes to user modes as an operator but generally it would be much easier to implement it into the unrealircd server itself. | ||||
