| Product Version | 3.2.9-RC1 | ||||
| Summary | 0003951: Server keeps modes - if chanmode +r set - when channel is empty | ||||
| Description | The server should keep chanmodes in the channel when channel is registered to ChanServ. It should keep bans, excepts, invites, topic and chanmodes. All chanmodes. When channel have not +r set, server DOESN'T keep channelmodes. (It makes opless chans, it ends in chaos) This is really annoying to keep bans etc alive... I hope this should be added to the Unreal 3.2.9 TODO list :) Regards, KnopeX | ||||

If I understand what you're, this is a feature request for unrealircd to replicate the functionality of services and IRC bots. I don't think this will ever be done. Also, clearing a channel of users is just one way of resetting it completely. I know that in your scenario, one could have the same effect by marking a channel as unregistered (with -r) and _then_ clearing it of users. Yet, this just adds another step to the process. If you really want something like this, you can probably write a module that does this. ;-) There is a chance you might find help with module development in #unreal3-devel. |
