| Description | Hi, We gline users that join specific channels (botnet home..) and we block the channel name with spamfilter because some lamers think it's fun to spam for these channels. The problem is that now they spam for a channel linked to the banned channel. Can you set up a blacklist for channels that cannot be linked with +L ? | ||||

If you use deny channel {} blocks, the link won't work. Other than that: set::restrict-chanmodes "L" and find a way to prevent mlocking it in services. Unless you use channel links yourself. |

Yeah but if I deny the channel in the config, bots will stay on the net without being banned. For the restrict-chanmodes, it's not exactly what I want. I don't want block chmode +L to users but only block a list of "bad" channels to be linked. |

This sounds like a good idea for a spamfilter target. Should be implemented at the same time as spamfiltering channels itself. Not for 3.2.6.... |

you can stop this for the most part by using an extended channel ban on the channel in question, by banning everyone that is already in another channel ie. you have #chan and #spam, #chan is +L's to spam. when anyone joins #spam, they get glined, so, in #spam, do /mode #spam +b ~c:#* this will prevent anyone from joining #spam, if they are in any other channel |
