| Summary | 0004011: Unreal displays short MOTD on connect, even though no short motd exists | ||||
| Description | On connect, my unreal displays an "empty" short motd even though I have no ircd.smotd file (only a ircd.motd): - This is the short MOTD. To view the complete MOTD type /motd - End of /MOTD command. Typing /motd after connect will display the contents of ircd.motd like expected. My unrealircd.conf does not set any motd related settings. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | create a minimal unrealircd.conf with no mentions of motd files create a ircd.motd file with your desired content check that there is no ircd.smotd connect to unreal | ||||
| Additional Information | I tried setting the motd file in the files block, but it still displayed an empty short motd | ||||
