| Description | For now, it's always "Cannot join channel (+b)". This can provide other information as well, like "you are banned" for nick/ident/~r, "address banned" for hostmasks, "you are on a channel which is banned" for ~c and more other cases. | ||||

I understand the request but I think most people would say this would aid ban evasion :) For a similar reason we disabled remote "MODE #chan b" quite a while ago. On older IRCd's like IRCNet you used to be able to see the banlist even if you were not in the channel, so you could see how to evade things. |
