Summary0006494: It is posible to use rehash command only for a independent file?
DescriptionHello, i would like to propose something about the rehash command, i will saw you an example:

A part of the unrealircd.conf, i have more files, like bans.conf, nicks.conf, countries.conf, inmune.conf... and every of that files content information that changes the unrealircd.conf, that is because in the unrealircd.conf i Include all that files.
Why i have that files independented? Because for me, is more easey to modify in independent files that in the same unrealircd.conf.

Which is my propose? Well, i supose that when i use de /rehash command, the Unrealircd reload the unrealircd.conf file and all the other files...
So my question is... there is a posibility that you use for example /rehash inmune.conf if i have only modify that file? In that case, will be more quickly if only reload one file that if have to reload all unrealircd.conf and the rest of the files.

That idea is because i use Windows, and when i use /rehash command, i have detected that the unrealircd wait perhaps 8 or 10 seconds to rehash all... so i think that it would be posible to rehash independent files, perhaps the /rehash command would be more quickly.

I hope i could explain what i want to mean, my english it's a litle bad...

I wait for your answer, thanks you very much!

I'm afraid there is no such feature. It would be.. well.. quite some effort.

I think it would be more useful to see if we can make rehashing on Windows faster, if it really takes like 8-10 seconds. I haven't checked myself lately.
