| Description | I have ruled out several possibilities of my Unreal crashing: 1) I am running on a shell, and my account has been paid for. 2) My admin is out of the country with no access to the internet. 3) My ircd.log is reporting no errors. 4) I tried to find a common thing that I am doing that causes this error, but I haven't found a thing yet. 5) My core files are the most up-to-date possible. The last time I ran the ircd and it crashed was on May 20. 6) Core files are attatched. Just thought I would report it and see if I could get any suggestions. If you need anything else from me, let me know. | ||||
| Additional Information | This has only occurred when I updated to the newest Unreal release, and it has happened repeatedly only since then. I even left the irc running, without me connected to it, and it died on me. | ||||

1. Could you upload the file somewhere and put an url here? I assume the upload is incomplete since it's only 296kb, or is that correct? 2. Please also send your src/ircd binary file 3. What OS? 4. That other bug 0001002 can be closed? Thanks :p |

I saw your post. I will get it to you tomorrow. What am I looking for in ircd/src ? My OS is linux. Beta 14 and 15 worked just fine for me, but Beta 16 is not for some reason. JB |

Hi, I took a look at the core files you mailed me and it seems like the badword::action block bug. So, if you get the CVS version from http://www.vulnscan.org/UnrealIrcd/cvs/?M=D then the problem should be solved :). |
