I have a ircd.motd on all Servers. |

it uses ircd.motd for remote motd's, but... [quote my mail] Played a bit further and it works fine until you do a /rehash -motd, then the remote motd is gone :p. [/quote my mail] |

I've 2 communication channels running now, mail and this.. great :p -- paste mail -- Did you understand my message? :) Once you have done a /rehash -motd the remote motd thing is gone forever until you restart your ircd. Just validating, there could well be another bug ofcoz, it's just that I tested 3 different tld configurations now and 2 different link configs (A-B and A-B-C) and it works like I said. -- end of paste -- |

codemastr: in case you wonder, havent fixed it yet.. prolly easy to add motd reading at the rehash thing but I'm doing other stuff atm :). |

Unless I'm mistaken, the motds are reread at rehash time? |

Yeah I mean the "main motd" (ircd.motd)... I'll recode it a bit, I see you already made a read_file() :p. I also noticed motd_tm is set to localtime(something) which is wrong because on the next localtime() call the content will change (check it out yourself, the /motd thing date is usually the current date coz localtime() is called in checkpings, /time, date() [via webtv whois]) blalblbsldfhdslhfsd... very important *ahem* ;p. |
