| Summary | 0001052: Probably a bug on the EXCEPTION/BAN LISTs? | ||||
| Description | Even though I have set up Unreal to accept up to 1000 BANS/EXCEPTIONs due to some rooms on my network where the owners want to have a very fine control of who is allowed on it from the AOL domain which is known to bring lots of trouble makers, I have found out that Unreal ONLY accepts 76 EXCEPTIONS on the room, dispite the 1000 we have set it up to allow. Whenever we try to add a new EXCEPTION to the list we get something like the message below: #channel Frakie!*@* :Channel ban/ignore list is full But here's the funny part, We made sure we removed ALL bans on that room, currently there's ONLY ONE ban for the AOL domain, and there's three AKICKs, so according to the settings there should be plenty of room for new exceptions on the room, however Unreal says there isnt. Im thinking that probably at some point the room's ban/exption list was actually full, but for some reason removing the bans will not reset the ban/exception list somehow?. Also if its set to 1000 bans in config.h that means the empty slots will be combined between bans and exceptions correct? otherwise how is this supposed to work? | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | -Create many bans and exptions till its filled up -try removing some bans or exptions to make room -even though you removed old bans or expetions Unreal still says the room ban/exception list is full. | ||||
| Additional Information | One of the servers was restarted to upgrade to beta17, while the other server ( still with bots and users on it) hasnt been yet restarted, so looks like bans/exceptions manage to stay on memory. Any ideas would be appreciated. | ||||
