| Summary | 0001069: vhost cloacking | ||||
| Description | i know the ircd has inbuilt vhost stuff that makes you need to auth. : vhost { vhost i.hate.microsefrs.com; from { userhost *@*.image.dk; }; login stskeeps; password moocowsrulemyworld; }; But what i was wondering about is if its somehow possible to make the ircd cloak on certain ident like ie say users connect with the ident "idiot", instead of them having to log in to the vhost thinge, i want the server to auto set their vhost to idiot.this-net.com. Is this possible in unrealircd, or is there anything else i could use to do this with? | ||||

No it's not possible, and I really don't see why it's useful. |

If you want that feature. Get anope. They have a host feature on nickserv identify.` |

|

m33p: yeah, it is possible to _code_ that feature (probably you misunderstood codemastr), but why if you don't have a good reason? edited on: 07-07-03 12:42 |
