| Summary | 0001095: TOPIC when unset/set to nothing returns wrong numeric reply | ||||
| Description | When a topic is set then removed, the normal reply when a topic is requested /topic #chan - should be numeric 331 s_err.c:/* 331 RPL_NOTOPIC */ ":%s 331 %s %s :No topic is set.", however, unreal is calling 332 s_err.c:/* 332 RPL_TOPIC */ ":%s 332 %s %s :%s", and it is outputing as such, a topic numeric reply, but when it should be outputing no topic set (331). | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | /quote topic #chan :test [2049:42] * Praetorian changes topic to 'test' /quote topic #chan [2049:43] * Topic is 'test' /quote topic #chan : [2049:52] * Praetorian changes topic to '' /quote topic #chan [2049:53] * Topic is '' Fairly simple? :) | ||||

I don't have a particular opinion on this, but with the current situation you can see who unsetted the topic via numeric 333, which can be useful.. Just to show you the current ("old") situation isn't completely stupid. |
