did your ircd crashed after a kickban ? is yes, get the latest CVS. |

Since you are at windowsyou are are probably just another person experiencing windows resolver bugs, but.. the wircd.core files could semi-prove that. If you don't have them or if they are 0 bytes then we are unable to help. |

** Massclose of random windows crashes ** This is now explained at the bugs.unrealircd.org mainpage: Windows: there are multiple resolver bugs in the windows version which make it crash after a while.. usually after 1 or a few days. This is nothing new, that bug has been in windows versions for a looong time, if you want a stable ircd we suggest you to use *NIX. There's a workaround however: you can disable dns lookups for clients by putting the following in your unrealircd.conf: set { options { dont-resolve }; }; |
