| Description | 1. /silence *@cloak-22D7F664.summit01.nj.comcast.net does not work. But /silence *@203.127.225.10 works. A user cannot be /silence when he is mode +x. 2. Is it possible to restrict usermode +x to AOPs and OPERS only? | ||||

2. Why? I think userhost protection is probably one of the most important things these days... it does stop your address being found out by someone with nothing else to do.. edited on: 07-31-03 06:32 |

because I can't make /silence *@cloaked_IP to work . People can get notice flood from chatters outside the channel and they won't be able to use /silence on a cloaked ip edited on: 07-31-03 06:34 |

So more to the point, "SILENCE" needs to be fixed so it works on masked hosts then? :) |
