umm... The point is so channel bans and stuff still work while the IP is crypted/hexed. Being able to set your own +x would lead to be evading bans easily and also is just plain stupid... if you want a different host, get an oper to /chghost <nick> <new-host> for you. My 2 c |

I'm pretty sure he meant that the network should be able to choose it's own host template. If not, that's a feature I would like to see. |

bad idea (see Praetorian_), yes I've been thinking about template alike system too but I'm not planning to make it at all atm. |
