| Summary | 0001225: TKL + G Fault / Possibly with SHUN also | ||||
| Description | When specifying a timestamp for the services TKL command, if you specify a negative timestamp it will crash. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Run some IRC services that you may have source too and code it so that it posts a negative timestamp. | ||||
| Additional Information | This was discovered by mistake due to my programming of my new irc services where I had left out the abs() around my calculation of the time stamp. When it posted the TKL + G line the timestamp was negative and immediately crashed the ircd. | ||||

FYI: commands from servers are trusted, therefore it's likely bad commands will crash the server. We have currently no plans to validate all server traffic, it's not worth the extra CPU usage / effort. |
