| Description | We are having this error on just one of three ircd servers. To try to get rid of it I downloaded the newest beta from cvs and recompiled it and it still continues. We get the msg in the status window about every 60 seconds that says "Exiting ssl client : SSL_accept(): Internal OpenSSL error or protocol error" Other ircd servers are configured exactly the same way. This ircd ran for a month and never gave this msg. | ||||

That means something is trying to connect every minute (autoconnect, some bot, whatever..) to your SSL port but is probably talking cleartext or garbage instead of SSL/TLS. It's sent to the junk (j) snomask because it's nothing critical but can be informational in case you want to see a lot of details/junk. I've improved the error message to show the ip of the user in current CVS (.1915). |
