hm? like bot logins? or what? And what have snomasks to do with this? edited on: 11-01-03 13:44 |

1. I don't think it's good idea to disable usermode +B in set::restrict-usermodes. If someone does a bad configuration, it should be the problem of the server admin who made the setting. 2. Comment out set::snomask-on-connect in your configuration. |

Syzop: actually the problem is if you set snomask-on-connect to "1234" or something wrong value, you get umode +s, but with no snomasks. |
|
|
But it doesn't have to be a bug. Also, if you specify any oper-only snomasks in snomask-on-connect, they won't be set on users after they logged in to the server, and this problem has been existing since the release of beta18 (before the new snomask system was added). edited on: 11-01-03 15:58 |

uh yeah don't worry... I wasn't even considering doing this, I was only asking to clarify what he really ment ;). About the snomasks things, that doesn't seem like a real problem. |

The problem is not the snomask system. I thought it is not useful for a bot, that he is spammed full with lot of server notices, wallops, kills etc. But i see my last feature request. All got me wrong. It is my fault, i'll give up because my terrible english. Need more training. Silent reader from now on. |

I know the original problem is not what I wrote, it's just a wrong expression of a n additional thought about snomasks. Syzop: ok, if you say it's not a real problem, I accept that. |

Stoebi: oh ok. AngryWolf: well it's probably a bug, but nothing goes wrong (like no crash or weird behavior).. so I'm too lazy to fix those things. |
