| Summary | 0001383: /oper <name> returns "No O:Line for host" | ||||
| Description | When you use /oper <name>, upon entering your password you do not receive your oper but a message of "No O:Line for host". However, when you only /oper and then enter your password, you receive your oper. I think this only requires a slight tweaking of the module that handles oper, but I don't know enough about programming to feel confident of fixing it myself. I would try, but I have never done any source tweaking on an ircd. | ||||

It's "/oper name pass", not "/oper pass". If you try for example "/oper blah" it will say "OPER Not enough parameters", if it says anything else then that's caused by your client. On a sidenote, 'name' is case sensitive (just like the password), this is on-purpose. |
