| Description | When 2 ziplinked servers connect, there is always a notice like this: [06:47] -eos.xevion.net- *** Notice -- Zipstats for link to matrix.xevion.net[@159.134.96.76.0]: decompressed (in): 11231/68534 (16.4%), compressed (out): 74792/14169 (18.9%) However, the numerator and denominator are incorrectly reciporicated on the compressed(out) statement. It should be 14169/74792 (18.9%) instead of 74792/14169 (18.9%) Just a minor thing.... -- fez | ||||

Yes because it wasn't ment to be read like that ;). Perhaps I should have used an arrow: decompressed (in): 11231=>68534 (16.4%), compressed (out): 74792=>14169 (18.9%) 11k became 68k after decompression, 74k became 14k after compression.. and in both cases the usual compression ratio is used (I think?). I know.. it's confusing. |
