Did you run ./curlinstall? Based on what you pasted there (/usr/bin/libcurl) it seems as though you're using your systems default installed libcurl? That's not going to work. The default installs are NOT compiled with ares support. Unreal requires libcurl to be built with ares support in order to work. |
I am running Libcurl install, actually i installed the libcurl into the usr/bin direction myself.... rather than using a systsem default install |
"I am running Libcurl install" is that a yes to the "I ran the ./curlinstall script that comes with Unreal"? |
that is a yes i ran the ./curlinstall, although i ran into many errors on it.... |
i am going to start over with this, i think i missed a step, whoops.....LONG DAY |

[root@Trunks Unreal3.2-cvs]# ./curlinstall /usr/bin/arescurl /usr/bin/libcurl Installing ares ./curlinstall: line 19: ./configure: No such file or directory Should libcurl be built with SSL support? -> yes Installing libcurl ./curlinstall: line 43: ./configure: No such file or directory cp: cannot stat `/root/ares/lib': No such file or directory make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop. cp: cannot stat `/root/ares/lib/libares.a': No such file or directory libcurl has been installed. When running ./Config specify: /root/curl for the directory you installed libcurl to. [root@Trunks Unreal3.2-cvs]# |

README.remoteinc details the whole process take a look at that it will explain pretty much exactly what you should do. |

Installing ares ./curlinstall: line 19: ./configure: No such file or directory Should libcurl be built with SSL support? -> |
