DescriptionI get an error [01:44:17] -Smurfs.DecayOnline.Com- *** Notice -- error: Error downloading http://blah.blah.com/Network/DecayOnline.Network: The requested URL returned error: 401
Steps To ReproducePassword protecting the site, but the password and username are both correct having been checked and rechecked.

Yeah seems to work fine for me as well. Are you sure your URL syntax is correct? If you copy/paste the URL from unrealircd.conf into your web browser, does it work?

The type of system is 100% irrelevant, that's what standards are for. Could you paste the include line (with user/password changed)?

Ah I think I see the problem. That's not truly a valid URL. A browser will accept it because browsers like to be "user friendly" but it technically is illegal. You have to "escape" the $. Try replacing the $ with %26 and it should work.

It would be nice if unreal did this for you (I'd really like it if it did), unfortunately, this would mean you'd have to install another library (probably the Senga URI library). Me personally, I think the installation process is long enough, however if there are enough people out there who want this I don't mind adding it.

from my own previous experience with *nix to windows authentication on websites or any of the sort, it was almost always rejected because *nix systems were not talking in a way for win systems to understand. I have tried changing the password, i have reset it, still no go.

Right off the back in the *nix browser, i put in the URL both without and with the user/pass combo and still get http 401
