| Summary | 0001554: new moderated channel mode | ||||
| Description | we should have a time-based moderated mode, based on the GMT time. example /mode #channel +z 11p-6a could cause a "moderated" state on a channel between the time of 11 pm gmt and 6 am gmt, where all non operators/voice/hops would be unable to talk. great for meetings, services "classes", online prayers, etc. and for making sure those pesky non-members don't flame you or your other friends while you sleep, etc. | ||||
| Additional Information | would be very useful to a number of channel owners I know. | ||||

Ok, first thing about this, +z is already "SSL only channel", second, if it were based on GMT then you wouldn't use 11p-6a because GMT uses 24 hour time. You are right, this probably would be useful to some people, however only a small set of people. As such, I don't really see that this should be implemented in Unreal, this seems more like the kind of thing that should be implemented in a module. If I had tons of people saying "yeah this is great" I'd consider it, but since you posted this not a single person posted a reply to support it. |

I don't think this should be a core unrealircd feature either... |
