| Summary | 0001578: storing CTCP VERSION reply | ||||
| Description | Hi, it would be nice if the CTCP VERSION reply from the connect could be stored. - Opers could see this information in /whois. - this information could be used for a new extended banmode (banning only special clients from channel) | ||||

Unreal _only_ does a CTCP VERSION if you have ban version {} blocks. That alone pretty much makes this suggestion useless. |

yeah. and per-channel stuff based on ctcp sounds lame too "let's ban all those stupid mirc users" etc. If it were real bots/bad scripts/whatever it should have been banned on connect already (ban version { }). |
