IIRC, the server throttles users by TKL Z-Lining them. /stats k shows all K-Lines, Z-Lines, and E-Lines, tkl or not, so /stats k should show any active throttles. Plus, I believe the necessary snomasks will reveal tkl bans that are placed. I don't know if a TKL ban placed by the server due to throttling is sent through server notice, but try putting +s +G which will snotice you on any tkl ban placed or removed.
I can see a good use for this actually. If someone is getting throttled too much, it could be a potential misconfiguration. After all, if the throttler is set to be too strict, you could end up throttling otherwise innocent users (like AOL users). On the other hand, if one person is continuously triggering the throttle, you could up the TKL Z-Line to a permanent one. |
