| Description | After adding official-channels { } to Unreal, I started getting things like KICK :Unknown command and stuff. I deleted the blocks, and everything worked fine. I'm using RC2fix, and I'm not sure if this was in a previous version of UnrealIRCd. | ||||

had any /rehash errors or warnings when you did that? Because it sounds more like a module (commands.so) got lost somehow ;). |

I didn't get any errors on /rehash, I don't think. It sounds like it might just be a bug in the software. I'll test it again and tell you how it goes. |

I'm in #help now, and /kick works. However, I get this when I type /kick #help Admin test: #help :No such nick/channel I'm not sure if it's part of my configuration that I messed up, or something. |

After reason, Two things: /module (and paste the result here) And then turn your client's debug mode on and do the /kick and paste exactly what your client sends to the server and exactly what the server responds with. |

I did the /module. However, I don't know how to turn on debug mode in X-Chat. I can do /debug, but that doesn't show it. In fact, I'm also having another problem. IRCd is started (I can access only via 127.0.0.1), but I can't access it from my regular server, irc.utucs.com. The port is open (6667), and it is in /etc/hosts. I can go on-line fine. Menu -> Window -> Raw Log... By the way, I think X-Chat is what messes up the syntax: /kick #opers AngryWolf test --- #opers :No such nick/channel /kick AngryWolf #opers test --- You have been kicked from #opers by AngryWolf (#opers test) |
