| Summary | 0001716: Add a +m 'nick' mode | ||||
| Description | I think it may be a good idea to add a channel mode: when chan is in "+m nick" all messages sent to the chan are redirected to 'nick' | ||||
| Additional Information | Several networks are organizing special event chats, such as interviews. When setting the channel mode +m a_nickname, the server could avoid users' messages to be sent on the channel, but could redirect them to "a_nickname" query, to strip them with a bot for example. Sorry for my english, i'm high and it's late (: | ||||

It may be a good idea to redirect messages sent to moderated channels indeed. A bot could received and the allow moderators to sort the questions during interviews. Well, a good idea :) |

Unreal already has auditorium mode (+u) use that. Furthermore, even if something like this were added it most certainly would not be +m as +m is already used. But I really don't see why this is useful. Why not just tell the users to /msg a_nickname ..... ? |

I doubt this will ever be implemented... |
