| Summary | 0001821: i get a error..if i click on unrealircd.exe in the folder, really quickly it says crashstart failed..i think.its hard to see. | ||||
| Description | im running unrealircd 3.2, windows xp pro. tonight i restarted the server, then it died. i have restarted with a new config, reinstalled, but nothing works. the error is below. C:\Program Files\Unreal3.2>unreal.exe start Failed to start UnrealIRCd NT Service - there are no logs, etc..please help. | ||||

Try this: >wircd If the server starts and works fine, then stop it (with /die and password), and run: >net start UnrealIRCd If that gives you an error like "could not find the specified service" or something, then run >unreal install and try again. edited on: 2004-05-18 13:24 |

thanks :D i didnt have to try it...i just tried starting wircd.exe again..then i ran unreal.exe :) thanks |
