| Summary | 0001940: Failed authentication on Oper Block for identity case sensitivity | ||||
| Description | Unreal doesn't seem to read case-sensitive identities for oper blocks. | ||||
| 3rd party modules | |||||

? I don't understand what you are saying. |
If you're saying Unreal treats the login and password as case-sensitive, yes, you're right. But that's not a bug, that's how we designed it. |
lol, no. The ident isn't checked as case sensitive. ;) |

works fine here. 'syz' in operblock, both 'SYZ' and 'SyZ' are accepted. Which is exactly as I would expect to be honest. Username and password are case sensitive. Ident is not (what's next? hostname case sensitivity?? ;p) edited on: 2004-07-10 19:20 |

A case sensitive ident is a HORRIBLE idea! +b *abc*@* then a user [email protected] joins and is not banned because the ident is case sensitive??? |
