get into the file SERVICE.log (Win32... Im not sure as to this file's existence in *nix, LoL, I dont check that file in *nix cos that one never breaks for me)

codemastr.... ircd.log... think maybe someone's restarting it?

cause I tested that on mine....
/restart password :too many select errors
produces this message:
*** Notice -- Aieeeee!!! Restarting server... too many select errors

thats a wild guess, but, LoL, maybe there is such an error :)

If it is a type of error, which is what it sounds like by looking at the message from the server and someone is not restarting the server, then it should be logged and should fall under the errors; catagory for the logging. Look carefully at your ircd.log file around the time when it happens.

You should see stuff like: "[timestamp] select name.of.your.server: Errormsg/id" in your log, without that I doubt anyone can help.
Just a question/advice to be sure: is this the official win32 ircd without any modules (besides commands.dll/cloak.dll)? If not, try using that.

i searched the ircd.log but did not find anything. i have commands.dll/cloak.dll, but it happened before i added modules.
