| Description | Compiling on MacOS X 10.3.4 aka Darwin 7.4.0 works nicely except that the md5-routines collides with those from the system librarys. Compilation works, but the first user connecting crashes the ircd. After relinking ircd without md5.o everything works well. | ||||

What are the exact errors? [<- woops I ment gdb backtrace, anyway.. try the include thingy in the next paragraph first] Anyway, I think I already found the mistake... did you perhaps compile with SSL support? I noticed there's an '#if !defined(USE_SSL)' in src/md5.c but there's no 'include "config.h"' line, try adding that line right before the #if !defined thingy and recompile (without having md5.o ripped out [and do make clean; make]). edited on: 2004-07-21 11:42 |

gdb is a problem on MacOS X - not all system provided librarys contains debugging symbols. So I was not able to produce a usable backtrace after the SIGBUS... Yes, I'm using SSL. And yes, it works when adding #include "config.h" to md5.c. Thanks! |
