Seems more like something for a module to me. |

quick question for you codemastr - would it be possible maybe have a module (maybe even this as an option in the default ircd since some people liek to use autovoice) to add a extended ban (~v) type - like +b ~v:something which would stop them talking even if they have a voice? |
i also agree with the modes ~S and ~c being a module. |

Yeah, should be in a sperate mod if you ask me (easy to do too).
White_Magic: [@~v] Currently not. I had an idea about implementing ~Q once (~q that also applies to voiced users) but since currently no bans at all are checked if you have voice or higher (vhoaq) it would mean stuff would need quite a few changes which wasn't really worth the bloat/slowdown IMO, especially since I didn't find the feature superuseful. |

Just devoice them for that... |

aquanight: autovoice means autovoice on join.. they use /hop and get it back, arnt u silly? |

what is the purpose of +v if the user can't speak? |
wots the purpose of +b when the channel is giving everyone +v - +v overrides +b so a 1 ban is needed that overrides the +v this way some control can be used in the channel. |

Why autovoice everyone if you don't want everyone to have voice! :P |
