| Summary | 0002106: Include realname in nickname!username@IP | ||||
| Description | would it be possible to include the real name in the userhost? for example instead of Nickname!username@adress include the realname after the address Nickname!Username@address:realname - reason why i am suggesting if this is possible, it would allow more ban options for keeping a user out (i know the realname is ment to stop drones / bots- however i see it as a good user stopper too considering most users dont change there realname often as it is) Also it would allow more ban control on drones / bots like these for example... rtgwgwer is [email protected] * kenan where the ident and realname are a match it would allow a ban to stop them - maybe an extended ban incoperating the ~r. just a thought i had when i seen them flood this morning. | ||||

Even if I wanted to do this, it can't be done. Realnames can include spaces. That would break the IRC protocol. |
