| Description | There's been a /pass command in the ircd, but it is undocumented. I don't know what it's doing, but my users have asked me to setup an alias for /pass to identify their nicknames like by the /identify alias, and I've realised, that I can't do that, coz it's a command. And now I'd like to know what it's doing. Please tell me. Or if this command is obsolete, please remove it from the source to have the opportunity to use this as an alias. | ||||

1.) This is not a support forum, it is not the place to ask questions. 2.) PASS is NOT obsolete 3.) You could have easily looked at RFC1459 to see what PASS does PASS is the command that allows you to use a password to connect to a server. When you type /server irc.blah.com MyPassword, it sends PASS MyPassword |
