| Summary | 0002242: Shun, spamfilter viruschan and /part command | ||||
| Description | On Shun and spamfilter viruschan features the /part command should be allowed because if someone close the channel window is shown in the channel but actually he is out. | ||||
| 3rd party modules | |||||

I'd say - the client is dealing the situation, as if he's out (sending /part and closing down the window). But on ircd he is still in the channel and will still get every action taken within the channel - don't know how the clients are reacting on this (getting channel-stuff "not being" in that one...) maybe the ircd should send a join back to hold the channel open. The viruschan is there for a good reason - I don't think it's good to let the folks simple ignore the whole thing and go on business as usual. |

Everyone have the right to leave a network even with a shun. So why someone don't have the right to leave a channel? |
