uh? :P And with did you try and what results did you get (what error msgs)? Also, try replacing the loadmodule line with something like 'fdshfdsdfs' and see if it gives a parse error. |

I've never heard of that error (at least literally it is not generated by unreal). How do you get this error? Unreal error box with like [unrealircd.conf] blablabla... Configuration failed to load... Or a real messagebox with 'Ok' and not much more else? If the former, could you provide a full paste of all the errors? |

thats all i get is an error box it doesnt say unreal ircd or anything like that it just says "your cloak.dll file cant load::fclose" and thats all i get maybe its a problem from where i got it bc i didnt get off here so its probably been modifiedin some way |

Ok. Yeah, in that case I would indeed suggest redownloading it from an official mirror (so go to www.unrealircd.com ). If you then still experience problems, then it could well be w98.. and then I probably can't help you much further (well, perhaps someone else can). |
