| Summary | 0002277: Unable to locate OpenSSL even if path is specified | ||||
| Description | UnrealIRCD3.2.2's config script doesn't seem to be able to detect OpenSSL properly, even when you specify the full path. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Run ./Config 2. Enable SSL 3. Enter the path to OpenSSL (/usr/bin/openssl) or leave blank to autodetect | ||||
| Additional Information | Is there some extra library or development package i should install to make this work? | ||||
| 3rd party modules | |||||

with openssl we don't mean the binary but the path to the libs and include files... Like /usr, or /usr/local. In 99% of the cases autodetect works fine however. You probably haven't installed the OpenSSL development libs/header files... on debian it's as simple as: apt-get install libssl-dev |
