| Summary | 0002292: Language files | ||||
| Description | Maybe it is rather an extreme idea, but it was very good, if UnrealIRCD supported the language files like most of the services packages, thus one can translate the server notices and the numeric texts to one's language. I've made some Hungarian translated code sometimes, but it is rather a hard work to do it once more, when a new version comes out. | ||||

Yeah, this is something for Unreal 3.3* |
But it wouldn't be implemented using a language file. Those are very limiting, it would use GNU gettext. None of those language files truly work for every situation for every language. |

Good i-dea, insiderZ.DE would support the Unreal Team with German language ! Our help.conf is allready completly in German.. Chris |
you may use hybrid`s language feature for example |

trocotronic started looking into this (conclusion was gettext so far, but still unsure due to speed and technical method). as for hybrid lang.., they only deal with numerics, by far the easiest thing ;p |
