Summary | 0002302: Ability to enable/disable halfop user status ir channel -- feature request
Description | In my opinion, it would be userful for many people to have an ability to enable/disable 'halfops' before compiling: for example, when running ./Config, the configuration proccess would ask a question: "Enable halfop status in channel feature? [Yes] ->" Also this feature could give an ability to manipulate other features in Unreal but I dunno what exactly, so I suggested only about halfops

I think you can have "h" in restrict-channelmodes and have it work. Unfortunatly, users will be able to get around this by using the HOp lists with services. If the HOp status is disabled with ./Config, there is a chance you might break services packages who expect +h to be there. |

If you don't want halfops, just a) disable them in services (I'm sure it's possible somehow) and put h in your restrict-channelmodes. Simple as that. Besides, I can't think why you would want to disable halfops for your whole network and then one channel wants to use them... |

(old I know) as mentioned, you can simply put it in restricted channel modes. sure, ircops can still use it, but that shouldn't be a big deal. |
