Descriptionok this is a little messy so i`ll try and keep it clear as possible...

a channel was getting flooded, thats ok so i set modes +c then +T to help stop them,

they still flooded in colour althou modes +c was set and NOT removed, at the same time..

2 things, that explain both:
- those things you saw with +c set were not color but control codes, such as bold/underline/reverse, they are not filtered/blocked by +S/+c (but there is a mod that does this: http://www.codemastr.com/?page=module#nocolorumode ).
- spamfilter strips control codes (so color+bold+underline+reverse) before it tries to match it against the text. Thus, any spamfilter with such a control code in it will never match (since the text is already stripped). Instead, you should match on the stripped text, such as 'Fo0o0od', etc.

uh, I don't know.

But.. modules are invented so people can change the behavior of the ircd to suit their needs. Contrary to popular belief, they were not invented to have all module functionality integrated in the core ircd! :P
