Summary | 0002493: (G)Zline sets *@mask and not *@ip
Description | when you do /gzline nickname tkl reason it gzlines the host and not the ip then u get a warning from the server to say to use the IP and not the host mask

why do you use a nick as parameter anyway, since it's clearly documented to use IP with gzline/zline? (besides that, the fact that it's working at all, even slightly wrong is strange...) |
|
well i cant remember how i learned actually, think i was screwing around or sumthing but when u /gzline nickname tkl reason it adds the hostmask, but also warns to use the ip coz of the DNS look up etc. |

Unable to reproduce on my IRC server (UnrealIRCd 3.2.3)... Normally, this bug has been resolved since 3.2.3. Look at bug 0002246 for more information. |
