| Description | OpenSSL 0.9.7d gzip 1.3.3 I have enabled two ssl ports, one for hub's link with serversonly; and other with clientsonly; for users. The ZipSSL-Link with HUB works ok, but when i connect to SSL port with my irc client (X-Chat) the first connection, works ok, but inmediately when i connect, Unreal close the SSL port, but it is shown in /stats P/L. Unreal doesn't show any SSL debug info to ircops and doesn't log any info, so i can't provide you some info to reproduce this, the config is ok and the certificates too. | ||||

Really closed, as in.. 'connection refused' ? Or another error? And "the first connection, works ok", do you mean you get fully connected and can do commands on the ircd etc, or? |

Yes, i get fully conected and i can execute commands on irc, oper up, and so one, but an nmap before and after the connection shows the port open, and then closed, so it's impossible to connect. In the first connection i receive the certificate data ok, and client connect well in appearance. |

hmm.. what does 'netstat -an|grep THATPORT' show? Also, don't know if you have root on the box, but do you see anything in /var/log/messages or something? To be honest.. I really have no idea how this could happen ;p |

An netstat -pat shows the port open after, and remains open before, but an nmap to that port shows the port open and then closed. On that machine i haven't root access, but in other machine i have root access it doesn't show any error in logs. |

Are all the machines, where you can reproduce this on, using grsecurity? Anyway, I had grsecurity installed up to a few months ago, but I never experienced the SSL problem you mentioned (nor have I heard of anyone else). |

OK, misteriously changing the port from 6661 or 6660 to 9999 it works fine, you can close the bug, if it comes again, i'll post. |
