| Description | Set mode in channel so color is allowed but not background color. why? Color can be fine to follow conversation from different people, but when background color is added it gets too annoying. | ||||

50% use black background in they clients by default, and another 50% - white. If i specify ONLY text color, e.g. white (because i have black backgr. in my mIRC) and NO background, users with bright background will not see my message. IMO, it is bad idea, however, for this "annoying things" people can use reverse... |

The chat i'm running uses pjirc only. And don't have much knowledge about irc clients. So they can't do any setup. I understand that I might be the only one with this kind of setup. But I thought that I was lucky and other wanted this ;-) |
