| Summary | 0002946: [linking] Server disconnect messages not appearing | ||||
| Description | I've noticed while testing some stuff out that when a server-server link is broken, the server message indicating that the link is broken isn't being shown. Here's what I did. I've got my main server and test server, and I shut down my test server. I should have received a message on my main server indicating this. I didn't get it. Tested with UnrealIRCd 3.2.5-rc1 with the main server on Windows XP Professional and the test server on Windows XP Home (both Service Pack 2). | ||||

Hm, cannot reproduce it here I think. *** LocOps -- Server testlink.test.net[127.0.0.1] closed the connection That's on *NIX <-> *NIX though. Killed the other ircd with kill -9 Questions: The server that shut downed, was it the ircd or the whole machine/OS that was shut down? Did you check if the server was still linked after the shutdown? Just some guesses. Are you able to reproduce it btw? |

Was just the ircd that was shut down. Which I did by killing the service. I'll check if it still thinks that it was linked. |

Hmm... /stats X seems to think that the link was indeed broken. |
